absorbed form. As a result, determination of water content is important to compliance
with pharmacopeial standards. Most recommended method for determination of water
is KARL FISCHER titration.
As per USP<921> Water determination monograph “For determination of trace
amount of water (less than 1%), it is preferred to use a Reagent with water
equivalency factor of not more than 2.0”.
